Autograph letters signed from J.B. Buckstone, Theatre Royal Haymarket, to various recipients [manuscript], 1831?-1860.

Recipients: M. Barnett, Massingham, Sir Charles Phipps, and an unidentified recipient. (1), undated and addressed to Barnett, concerns an account between them, with a list of the calculated figures at the end of the letter. Also indicates that he had "just left Elliston, they have made a devil of a mess of the Beggar of Brussels." (2) dated 6 July 1854, concerns delivery of a manuscript. (3) dated Tuesday morning, 11 Decr. 1857 and addressed to Massingham, requests tickets to Charles Kean's Richard II. (4) is a letter of introduction for Mr. Carle, who wishes to show His Royal Highness the Consort "an extraordinary trout caught ... in the River Thames." With (4), a carte de visite portrait of Buckstone.
